Fusion Cares
Fusion Cares is Here for You!
Whether you are dealing with loss, stress, illness, or uncertainty, the Fusion Cares ministry is here to surround you with Christ-centered care and compassion. Jesus said in John 13:35, "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another", and Fusion Cares is one way our church lives out that call to love.
Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, to listen, to share God's love with you can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness you may be experiencing. We'll come alongside you by:
Showing you the love and acceptance of Jesus in practical, personal ways.
Supporting you through consistent intentional prayer.
Helping you meet practical needs when life feels unmanageable.
Connecting you with trusted community resources for ongoing support.
If you reach out for help, a Fusion Care Team member will respond with compassion, respect, and confidentiality. Fusion Cares is here to show you that God sees you, loves you, and has placed a church family around you to help carry your burdens.

Sunday Prayer Team
Philippians 4:6 ESV
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Purpose
The Sunday Prayer Team is available at the end of every service to guide and encourage you in seeking God through prayer, fostering a life of dependence on Him both individually and as a community. We believe Spirit-led prayer a vital part of every worship service, approaching it with confidence, faith, and expectation, trusting in God’s power to listen and respond.
Visitation Team
James 5:13-15 ESV
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Purpose
The Visitation Team is here to come alongside you if you feel alone, weary, or in a season of transition—whether you are elderly, in the hospital, home-bound, welcoming a new baby, or grieving the loss of a loved one. We offer caring companionship and support through intentional visits, where we listen deeply, bring comfort, show empathy, offer encouragement, and provide spiritual care rooted in the hope of Christ.
Our heart is to gently care for the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of those who may not always be able to gather with us in person, especially the elderly, home-bound, and anyone walking through a difficult time. During our visits, we take time to offer encouragement, read the Bible together, share in communion, pray, and, when appropriate, anoint with oil—helping you know that you are seen, valued, loved, and very much a vital part of our church family
Intercessory Prayer Team
1 Timothy 2:1-4 ESV
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Purpose
The Intercessory Prayer Team is here for you, responding to God’s call to pray, lifting up your needs, and asking for His will to be done in your life, in our church, and across the earth. We envision our church as a “house of prayer” where prayer is woven into every ministry and activity. Prayer meetings are Spirit-led and well-attended, and we eagerly expect and experience God's answers to our prayers. Our church community will be marked by individuals who are deeply devoted to prayer, reliant on the Holy Spirit, and growing in their relationship with God.
Intercessory Prayer Team’s Procedure
Meet Weekly: Gather each week during the daytime hours for prayer and intercession.
Receive Prayer Requests: The team will be provided with prayer requests from the church office, ensuring that the needs of the congregation are covered in prayer.
Phone Calls: Offer support by making phone calls to those who have requested prayer, providing a personal connection and encouragement.
Follow-up and Status Checks: Follow up with individuals after their prayer requests have been addressed, checking on their progress and ensuring continued support.
Report Needs to the Office: If additional assistance or prayer support is required, the team will inform the church office to ensure the request is fully addressed.
This structure ensures a dynamic, responsive, and Spirit-led prayer ministry that nurtures spiritual growth and fosters a community of prayer throughout the church.
Community Resources and Meeting Physical Needs
1 Timothy 6:18-19 ESV
They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
Purpose
If you are in need, we want to be there to support your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being with compassion. We recognize that people’s well-being is interconnected across physical, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions. We envision a church that is equipped and ready to connect those in need with available community resources through education, awareness, and partnerships with local agencies. Beyond simply pointing to resources, we aspire to actively meet needs by providing hands-on care and support to make a tangible difference in people's lives.
Spiritual Accountability Plan & Pastoral Care
Proverbs 11:14 ESV
Where there is no guidance, a person falls, but in an abundance of counselors, there is safety.
Purpose
We want to provide you with support, hope, and biblical guidance so that you don’t feel alone during difficult times or while navigating challenging life seasons. The Pastoral Care Team strives to create a present and available church that is ready to offer care, biblical guidance, and counsel. This will foster an atmosphere that promotes biblical living and Christ-centered dependency, with biblical counsel being an essential part of discipleship and care for the flock.
Procedure
Initial Contact and Assessment
Once notified of a congregant’s need for support, the team will make initial contact promptly, either by phone, email or in person.
Arrange a meeting to identify the specific needs and challenges of the individual.
Providing Biblical Counsel
During the meeting(s), the team will provide biblical counsel by listening to the individual's concerns and offering scripture-based advice that aligns with God's Word.
The council will emphasize hope, healing, and encouragement through faith and biblical principles.
Identifying Further Support Needs
The team will assess whether additional meetings or sessions are necessary to address ongoing challenges.
If needed, they will refer the individual to other church leaders, resources, or support services.
Completion of Church-Appropriate Spiritual Accountability Plan Form
The team will complete a Spiritual Accountability Plan documenting:
The individual's details (Name, Phone, Email).
The assigned counselor or individual with whom they will meet.
Action steps: clear biblical guidance and practical steps for the individual to follow.
Necessary follow-up: who will follow up and when to ensure continued care.
Conclusion: A summary of the progress and the expected outcome or next steps for spiritual growth or recovery.
By following these steps, the Biblical Counsel Guidance Team will create a system that ensures effective and compassionate care for every congregant, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges while remaining grounded in their faith.
Do you like cooking and helping others?
We are looking for people to people to be part of certain areas of the Care Team.
One of them is to be on the list for Meal Train. A Meal Train is activated for various situations (birth, major surgery, death in the immediate family, etc) identified by the care team where a member of the church would be blessed with warm meals from the church family to ease their burden.
Members on the list to serve on Meal Train will be notified of the need, and an open schedule will then be provided. Volunteers can select the date, and time if/when they are available to make and deliver the meal. You can volunteer only if you are available and it is not mandatory.
